Interesting article.on endangered languages.  The quotes provide a veritable 
museum of commonly held attitudes ( many highly questionable) and various 
assumptions ( many readily rebuttable) on language issues.   Many 
demonstarte evidence of the influence of the megabucks behind the major 
languages - English especially - in moulding opinion and promoting hegemony.
