I’m obliged to give knowen (f), know (col) because the SWF-spec has them, but I have added a LC based variant knofen;

Lhuyd gives the following Cornish forms for English 'nut': kẏnẏfan [101c]; knẏfan [51c]; kẏnẏphan [8c] [74a] . These all have medial [-f-]. Nance (1938) gives "knofen". George (GKK), however, gives "knowen". How should we write this word?
