Exactly.
In dates, however, I prefer to omit the -es always:
25 Merth 2009
3 Gwyngala 2010
17 Gortheren 1956
31 Est 1975, h.e.
This is what Irish does and it seems to be more elegant than adding es
whether superscript or not.
