Tregear uses y myth, e myth, myth about 15 times and in almost every
case
it is preceded by direct speech. This is the original Cornish syntax.
When one wants to say: 'he/she said' before the actual words quoted
one uses the verb leverel, e.g.
ef a leverys efan,
e fethowgh why dybynnys
He said aloud,
'You will be beheaded'
BK 2271-72.
