No one disputes that cadar was at one time part of the Cornish  
vocabulary, and is thus found in toponyms.
The point is that cadar was not used for 'chair' in the texts. Since  
it wasn't apparently used as the ordinary word
for 'chair', perhaps we should avoid it.
Interestingly enough, both cadar and chair are from Lat. cathedra < Gk  
kathedra 'seat, chair'.
