[Spellyans] ‘Pound’ in Cornish

It seems as though <peuns> would be all right if teachers made sure to
recommend the pronunciation [pEnz], as Nicholas does. I'm not sure
that creating two variants, <puns> and <pens>, really buys us much. Is
this the only word with a short /ø/? Surely the same problem would
come up in any other cases along these lines. Euthek, perhaps?
