I notice from the list of An Gannas place names (1995) produced by  
Graham Sandercock and others, that Lostwithiel is Cornicised by the  
editors as <Lostwydhyel>.
The spelling <Lostwydhiel> then in the Maga Newsletter is a mistake,  
not a result of any deliberate policy.
