That shows "honensys" with stress on the "e"; it's not "honansys". Now  
according to our rule (from the earliest KS) we write the schwa with  
the vowel it takes under stress (as colon colodnow, not colan colodnow).

On linguistic grounds therefore we should write onen/honen, regardless  
of the etymology.
