We mention this in KS 16 §1.5.8.

That distinction doesn't affect the pronunciation
in a discernible way, since profia is a
polysyllable and rial is a monosyllable.
How do you want to spell [i:@] and [j@], Jon? I
don't see you making a constructive proposal.
