But <owna> is attested? Why should we not allow it alongside <ewna>. We have
the same Vocalic Alternation between <ewn> ~ <owna> as we have with <bew> ~
<bownans>. These alternatives should not be discouraged in my opinion but
allowed as legitimate variants.

If we use owna (cf. Gwra ouna guz furu Gwavas) for 'emend' and owna for
'fear' (vb) there is ambiguity. I prefer ewna for 'correct, emend'.
