[Spellyans] Late Cornish adaptations

Nicholas, how does "furu" translate in your quote?  I ask because the 
place-name Carfury has the early spelling of Carnfuru.  I assume this to 
be carn + furow, "wise ones, wise men" but it remains in the list of 
"uncertains".
